The self-professed metalhead is not only known for his drawings, paintings, ceramics, and textiles, but he also builds cardboard drums sets and guitars which he “plays” in short films and at art exhibits. Nick has two words for people who call him a “freak.”

Created by Cheryl Dunn and brought to you in conjunction with ALLDAYEVERYDAY and i am OTHER.
Dan Miller is one of the most recognized artists of Oakland’s Creative Growth Art Center, the world’s first non-profit art center dedicated to serving adults with developmental disabilities. Using ink and paper, Miller interprets every day subjects into intense, multi-layered ink masses that reflect the artist’s obsession with light bulbs, food, electrical outlets and even people’s names.
Do you like African prints and mixing high and low fashion like a pro? Style Hunt scours the globe to hunt down the best street style of everyday people in some of our favorite cities. In Shoreditch, London, we learn to weather a hangover in style, accessorize for the Congo, and opine about the ills of skinny jeans.

Artist Aurie Ramirez’s watercolor and ink compositions are often influenced by her love of The Addams Family and the rock band Kiss. Fragments of 18th century dandyism, neo-Victorian decorum, psychedelia, Venetian masquerade, Glam Rock sex and Punk fetishism are expressed in her work which has been shown at White Columns and Gavin Brown’s enterprise in New York, the Jack Hanley Gallery in Los Angeles, ABCD in Paris, and Collection l’Art Brut in Lausanne.

Creative Growth - The Man Who Came Home by Gregory...

Creative Growth - The Man Who Came Home by Gregory Stoper
