  • SUBSCRIBE to the i am OTHER channel here: http://bit.ly/SeGrNK
  • WATCH the Season 2 finale Thursday, February 28th at 6pm PST, 9pm EST
  • POST A RESPONSE VIDEO by recording yourself watching the finale. Comment on the episode, the characters, the season, and what you want to happen in the future. Pose questions or give feedback… whatever you want to say about Awkward Black Girl!
  • TAG YOUR VIDEO #ABGfinale so we can find your videos easily. If you don’t tag your video response we may not see it. 
  • TWEET @i_am_OTHER and @awkwardblkgrl your video so we are sure not to miss it. 
  • SUBMIT your video by Sunday, March 3rd at 11:59pm EST to qualify.

ISSA RAE, creator of Awkward Black Girl, will select her favorite response video to be featured the home page of our channel on our Facebook page, and shared with our Twitter and Instagram fans on Monday, March 4th. If you need to know how to post a response video, it’s easy! Here is a quick how-to:

  • Make sure you are logged into your YouTube account
  • Watch the Season 2 finale episode of Awkward Black Girl here: http://bit.ly/YHoiyy [link will be live tonight at 6pm PST / 9pm EST]
  • Below the video player and description, look for the comments field. This is where you would type in text to leave a comment for the video.
  • Click inside the field as if you were to type a comment. The field will expand to reveal an additional link.
  • On the bottom right of the expanded comment field next to the “Post” button, click the option to “Create a Video Response”
  • When prompted to the following page, you can select an existing uploaded video of yours on your YouTube account or you can upload your own video by clicking the “Upload a Video” tab.
  • Click the “Use Selected Video” button if you are selecting one of your existing uploaded videos.
  • If you selected the “Upload a Video” tab, follow the instructions that follow from there on uploading a video from your computer.
